Hello i am melanie, but most people call me mel, which i prefer. some people call me melon; which is a nickname ive had since school. ive got naturally curly hair, which i wouldnt change for the world. i wouldnt want straight hair like everyone else coz i like to be different. i hate fashion. well not fashion exactly but i hate wearing anything thats in fashion. i don't wanna be walking around wearing something that everyone else is wearing. most ppl who do that only buy the clothes coz they're in fashion then chuck em away after a month or two coz they're not in fashion anymore! but dont get me wrong, i love clothes. perhaps too much. i have too many, and i love buying clothes. i probably have close to 30 dresses by now lol. i would much rather spend my money on something i can wear and keep wearing for years than waste it on fags or loads of alcohol.
im quite a happy person most of the time, but like everyone else i have my bad days. i can be hyperactive and mad sometimes which always keeps my mum entertained.
i care about my friends and family a lot. actually i care about everyone a lot, although people don't seem to notice all that much. i like to give people the benefit of the doubt, see their good side over their bad, and give everyone a fair chance. i believe that you should like and trust everyone until they give you a reason not to. this may be a bad thing on my part. i do trust people too easily.
my star sign is libra, and like a true libra i am very indecisive. i like to way up the options before making up my mind. i am also a bit of a peace keeper, i hate confrontation and arguements.
Careerwise i want to be a designer. At the moment i am in my first year of a BA Hons Jewellery Design course at Central Saint Martins. i love designing and making things and to be a designer would be my ideal job. hopefully uni will open up some good opportunities for me in the future.
