About Me

------Another band quickly taking the reins of the Oxford music scene in a matter of months will be Night Lights. While only playing a few shows (especially a rockin’ performance at the Powerhouse a few weeks back), the Night Lights bring a powerful combo of post-punk and indie that will take the shitty line-up of Double Decker off your minds as soon as you can say “South Stage.” ------Many great things are happeningthis year in the local Rock scene. The Night Lights are the newest indie rockers on the scene for all you indie-rock fans. If I’m going to listen to an indierock band other than Radiohead, it is going to be these guys. They are, as Johnny Valiant of the Black and Whites put it, “one of the only bands to have ever followed The Sleepwalkers and succeeded.” Surely, these guys will not join the ranks of local rock bands consecutively snubbed by Double Decker music officials in years to come --The Local Voice
