I am a cameleon. I am a quick change artist.
I am one who works better under stress and under a tight deadline than with lots of time on his hands and nothing to do. I am not an "A" personality althought driving fast and fighting the bad guys in my cop days may prove otherwise.
So, I may be a "B+" personality.I am a right brained (sometimes bird brained) creative person. I wasn't your typical cop, your typical father and certinely not your "typical" man. There have been many failures in my life wither of my own doing or for whatever reason. But, the true test of any man is not how many times he may get knocked off his horse but how many times he gets back on it.
Now, that does not mean his "High Horse". I like knocking people off those things.I am an Actor. I am a comedian. But most importantly, I am someone who knows that true love is worth waiting for, true friends are worth dying for and dreams are worth reaching for.My trust is something i hold dear. I don't give it freely and it can be broken easily. Perhaps that is one of the ingrained cop lessons i have yet to be able to put on a shelf. There are many of those. But as a cop, I was a friend to many. I protected many. I counseled many. And the town still talks of the fights I was in 'cause I didn't take crap from noone.At this point in my life I am chasing a dream I let go of many years ago and never should have. Making up for lost time I guess and fearful that I may forget to stop and smell the roses in the process. I don't really know how to stop and smell the roses.
