Hello, I hope you find this a good read because it is going to be a long one... But I pray as you read, you will finish the whole thing and walk away with something positive you can keep for your own life...I was born at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, NC 1962. My father was a Navy Corpsman and we spent most of his career stationed on Marine Bases... we moved around probably not as much as the next military family from NC, Camp Pendleton, Norfolk Va, Pearl Harbor and Kaneohe Bay Hawaii, then back to Camp Pendleton. We moved to Colorado when I was 16. During the Vietnam War as my father served with the 2nd Bat 9th Marines we were taken to live with my grandmother and her fiancée Lash Larue (some of you may know of him?) Old time western movie star.In any case Hollywood was a crazy place during the war. I remember well, even though I was 5 years old.I was a troubled teen, sad and lonely and in search of something. Bored half out of my mind and always seeking "other" avenues of excitement to keep me entertained... Never into stealing, drugs or alcohol, my excitements came from always being on the go, wherever that day or days brought me... Some horrible things happened to me during this time and at the hand of others. Then, when I finally bargained with God to do what HE wanted of me, the motorcycle I was passenger on was struck down by a car and almost died... the results were my foot wasn't saved, but I was!Years of struggling through feelings of anger and sadness, I found the freedom of the heart and memories through TRUE forgiveness and testimony... Relief and a better and much clearer understanding of life, people, reasoning freedom and human respect began to fall into place.Illnesses falls on me over and over again and yet, though I live with such physical pain daily, It is nothing in comparison to the pain of wondering aimlessly through life searching for something which was right inside me the whole time...â€my Soul and My Spirit and it's destiny".I have learned that I am nothing with out God in my life and I seek to serve him and be pleasing to Him in all that I am and all that I do.I am writing a book about my life and over coming adversity. I have been molested, raped; gang raped, fought and beat cervical cancer, colon cancer, strokes, Multiple Sclerosis (records show a miraculous healing in the damaged nerves... Only God could have healed those and there are no mistakes to the many MRI's I have had, which show the deterioration of the nerves and then the regeneration of them. Everything is documented. I have had 28 operations and around 60 broken bones. I just completed the last 3 surgeries in a year’s time on my left leg... Plans for the future have been a little delayed but will carry on none the less. I stand upright and without a limp and most importantly, I am a genuinely happy person.
May God truly be your strong hold, your rock and your hope?
