We're Band from Bakersfield, CA. We established the band Vlad Arthur in July of 2007. Forming the Band Where two Brothers Art Hollywood and Gill Bladez (real names kept confidential). Art Hollywood as Vocals and Gill Bladez on Bass. The two Brothers were excited for their journey on making a hit band but, the problem was they were still short on members so they called their very good friend Mikey Panic.
The year passed and the band had been writing new material and was ready to start recording but, we didn't want just a demo, we wanted something big so we searched for a studio that would fit us. In January 2008 we found a studio that was owned by Buck Owens and recently owned by Jonathon Davis (lead singer of Korn) and family. We wanted to be part of something big so we worked very hard and we got it. We went to the studio in March 2008 where we recorded our first debut EP (self titled).
That is where our songs were recorded like: Revelations, One Chance, Machine Man, Truth that lies and In the Hands of God.After playing shows, later on in 2008 we decided it was time for us to bring in a Manager to help us fill in the business side of the music, so we contacted Michael Anthony. He helped us in our Business thinking and got us gigs and exposure. He also taught us the logistics of the music business. The time has passed we have been touring and growing more and more everyday as musicians and as friends. Unfortunately the drummer we had at the time left the group for personal reason. We were determined on looking for an experienced drummer with techniques and had knowledge in his drum playing. After searching for many Months, we found this amazing drummer. His name is Steve-O. Steve-O has been playing drums for 21 years; he is educated in music and was also top in his class in music theory. Our journey on making music was tighter and fuller than ever. It was a new beginning for our music career.In 2009 Feb we were given the Opportunity to open up for Power Man 5000 in front of more than a hundreds of people. The Promoter was amazed of our Stage performance that he kept giving us shows to play that in July 2009 we Had the Opportunity to open up for Taking BackSunday,Amberlin,
Saosin, Shiny Toy Guns, B-real (cypress hill) and many more. It was in front of over thousands of people. It was a great experience to be part of this amazing show. Ever since that show we have hung out with some amazing artist and perform with several of them as well. Our fans have been supportive all the way. We want to thank all of you who listen, followed and support the band and to all that in the future are going to become fans of Vlad Arthur. Well this is a little History of the band but, be prepared of what we are doing for the future. We're getting started on a new album which is going to be better than our first. Expect the unexpected…..
