i was born and raised in San DIego on March 5, 1975, where i began my quest for acting in my schools drama class in the 6th grade. Our drama teacher was our history teacher as well. And basically, for the kids who couldn't be cheerleaders and couldn't do extracurricular activites track or whatever just throw them in drama. They'll work something out there. I found in drama that i could do things and not have to wonder why i'm doing it, because its there on the page and i can create this character and i don't have to question why is she doing this and is it okay. School wasn;t without drama though, i was an acidhead and a pot smoker. There was this one time some friends and i were ditching off campus at lunch. We didn't make it back in time, and school officials found us smoking weed in a van around the corner. I was so stoned that when they started taking names i said mine was April June. It didn't even dawn on me that that was just two months put together. At 18 years old and after my boyfriend cheated on me and i had nowhere to go, a friend gave me a businesscard and i went off to model in Europe and Asia, but was brought back near home a few years later to do additional modelling in Los Angeles. After getting a few commercials to boot, i was encouraged to venture into acting. I then studied under the Terri Berlin Theatrical Workshop in L.A as well as stints in Toronto. I got off to a modest start with guest appearances in several short-lived TV series including Veronica's Closet, The Love Boat: The Next Wave, and D.C. In 2000 i nabbed myself an appearance on CSI and also got a starring role in the T.V mini series Jason and the Argonauts. AND THEN...Enterprise. I was cast in 2001 as the Vulcan Subcommander T'Pol, my first credible role. While working on Enterprise i was cast as a Jaffa warrior Ishta on Stargate SG-1. I've also done a straight to DVD flick with James Marsters "Spike" called Shadow Puppets and a T.V movie I Dream of Murder and my first Movie will be coming out...sometime, Slow Burn with Ray Liotta, Mekhi Phifer, Taye Diggs and LL Cool J. And hopefully...more onthe way soon!!

In April 2003, took Rapino and their entire families on vacation to Jamaica, where got down on one knee and she proposed to him. He accepted, and she asked him to marry her at 6pm the next day, with both families in attendance. That's what they did. Except Rapino, everyone knew in advance of Jolene's plans.
Her favorite holiday is Valentine's Day.
In 2004, Jolene was stalked by a man who was an obsessed fan of hers. He was arrested and sent to a hospital for mental evaluation.

Growing up, she was a huge fan of the original "Star Trek" (1966) series. Her favorite character was Spock.
