About Me

Kosher started his musical career as a starry eyed, House and Garage MC. After watching his cousin (MC DT), have so much success in the scene he decided entertainment would be the road he wanted to walk. Creating a group with the capability to go all the way to the top was a long process. But after carefully sifting through the sand, 3 diamonds emerged. DJ Dynamo Tee, MC Sky and the formally known MC Easy (Kosher) completed the well known collective known as Vintage Kru. This was the beginning…
Even at his young age Kosher had a natural leadership quality which would lead to him being seen as the captain of the team, the point of contact for other people to get to the boys. Whilst getting popular shows on pirate radio stations such as Flashback FM and Taste Fm, they also had a show on a popular legal station, Fusion FM. This was all well and good but the young MC always felt recording would be the way forward. Not knowing at the time that the type of flow he was laying over House and Garage was suited to that of a rapper, pointed out by his good friend and extremely talented producer Deanyboy.
After Vintage Kru split up, Kosher set about finding himself as a musical artist and studied all types of music and styles. He took a particular liking to the Motown sound and found the originality and quality of music in that era made for timeless classics and eternal respect towards those artists, something Kosher would want for himself. Just being in his presence you sense that something great is going to happen. He has this magical aura which is complimented by his humble personality.
Having sold records on the underground circuit and written/produced a track on Daniel Bedingfield’s hit debut album ‘Gotta get thru this’ the hunger for success remains stronger than ever. The young entrepreneur or self made man as he would like to call himself, now has his own entertainment company and a clothing line on the horizon. It would be all too easy to say the future looks bright for this talented lyrist, which could be an understatement. What I will say is ‘The future is here…’ – Amanda Walsh
