Sam Rogers is The One Mouth Band. Best known in the a cappella world for his instrumental imitations and solo improv shows, his solid beatbox chops show jazz, world, and roots music influences.
As The One Mouth Band, Sam performs and teaches in Europe, Asia, Australia/NZ, and North America. He is the first solo act to compete (and win!) in an a cappella group competition (2004 Vokal Total International A Cappella Festival in Graz, Austria), a founding member of The Vowel Movement West Coast Beatbox Collective, a live looping pioneer, and creator of LipBiz, the world's first lip-lubricant for beatboxers.
He's spent half his life being the resident beatboxer / rhythm section for SF Bay Area a cappella groups (including "SoVoSo" a spin-off of Bobby McFerrin's Voicestra), and has two live solo vocal albums ("One Mouth Band" & "100% Organic Human Music"). Sam is currently touring as half of the trip-folk duo "One On One," recording a new solo studio album, and fiendishly working on a top-secret beatbox project.
