There, he discovered a brand-new artistic direction, a more genuine musical expression, and a deeper connection to himself and his work.The problems facing our troubled planet, the struggles of individuals, and the machinations of political leaders have been the focus of his lyrics, both explicitly and as subtext. Hason's esteem for our troops is boundless, and that love is renewed every day they are away from their homes and families. The single "ANTI," a tribute to soldiers past and present, can be found on his forthcoming CD 'tales from a Scorpio's stinger' This song speaks to the current mood in our country."I can do without water," says Hason, "but I need music to quench my soul". His style is a hybrid of Mother of Invention [Zappa], Ozzy-flavored vocals, dark acoustic guitars, socially aware lyrics, a bit of grunge, some emo, and a taste of harmonica, blending genres to reflect his unique vision. Hason's lyrics are his life exposed. Courageous enough to show true vulnerability, Hason peels back the layers of his soul and shows us his own truth, and perhaps ours as well.
