Back when time was being first concived (2003), Jimmy Stansfield and Ricky Cornelia (RICKAAAAY!!!) began learning how to say "guitar". They soon went on to play it too and before long had the urge to form a band. Enlisting the help of Cheda, (who had been playing the guitar since primary school but was still shit) and Oli Popley (who learnt the drums over night). They were soon writing songs with Jimmy on vocals, Cheda on lead guitar, Ricky C on rythm and Oli on drums. Lacking those deep ringing notes, middle Espin (bringer of banta and gigly green moments pre Laura) was brought in to play bass guitar. Alas, he only came to one practice so Will Birchall was promptly summond to replace him. This went well for a while but in the end Will and Ricky swaped rolls due to rythm issues (personaly i think Will's wrist was just too limp to slap that bass like the bitch it was, but thats a story for another Bio).
The band soon began to improve and after a triumphant gig at a friends party(Adam Espin, bringer of banter and giggly green moments pre Laura) began writing more and more. Sadly, Will left for university and regretably turned emo, he will be missed. On the brightside we got to replace our female member with another, Josh Hunnisett. Josh had been a friend of Oli and Cheda's for a while, and when asked to fill Will's hole (made me chuckle too) chomped at the bit. Roles soon changed again, Josh flew to lead guitar (because he could do it) and Cheda now resides on rythm. Hopefully it's gona stay this way for a while cos i'm gettin mega monde confused.
So far as the source of our magnifying wonder goes, Jimmy is the main songwriter, however they get adapted by the band as we go along. Cheda and Josh have also wrote some songs and there's more in the pipeline so keep ur ears open wide! We have crafted a sound out of a love of britpop, new wave, punk and indie music, ultimatly sounding more than appealing, I can say.
