I graduated from UF back in 1999 and headed to Atlanta to start my accounting career. Over the next five years, I worked in Atlanta, Orlando, hung out in Arkansas and Kentucky for a little bit, and then life and work ended up bringing me to New York City for 2 years. There I had the coolest possible accounting client (ESPN) and realized that it didn't matter who your clients were. If you're an accountant, you're an accountant, and it's not what I was meant to do. It took a while to figure it all out, but I ended up going back to UF to get a degree in building construction, got married to my lovely wife Muriel, got a job in south florida as a construction manager, and that's where I'm at now.
