Just recently, he was shown a photograph of himself at one week old in his grandfathers music room surrounded by his pops collection of jazz albums. Its funny how things evolve because this picture is not a stretch from his life thirty-something years later. Growing up in Ohio amid a lineage of music enthusiast is no doubt where his love for music comes. His desire to create music spans deeper than just liking it, but consumes him.Today in a room spilling over with music of his own, his studio consists of a countless collection of albums from show tunes to bluegrass, vintage 70s to jazz. Keeping him unavailable to the world outside this room, he is often found there for hours upon hours most times until sleep defeats him and his MPC converts to a pillow. As a producer he is known as Beezwax. His library of production includes everything from Street Hip Hop to R&B, Retro to Alternative Neo tunes. Established as a cooperative artist, his dedication to his craft compels him to see a project through to completion. He is known for his ability to build tracks from sound bites he creates himself and most noted for his skill in cutting and splicing a sample beyond recognition and making it hot.In the world of vocal artistry, he is known as Pace whose crooning ability can be matched with the versatility of R. Kelley, the serenade of Donell Jones and the integrity of Musiq Soulchild. In spite of his quiet demeanor, he has established a reputation for writing infectious hooks for hip-hop tracks and crooning catchy melodies on an impromptu R&B or Retro groove. His style of music is best described as R&B-two stepping, HipHop appreciated by teens, thirty-somethings and the mature crowd collectively. His ability to produce his own music, write his own songs and crown it with a gift of bringing life and energy to it with heartfelt vocal delivery, positions him as next level self-supported artist.
