Hmm, what to say about me?I live in a small town in the Missouri Ozarks, land of great beauty, home to hillbillies, Amish and fundamentalist everything. Fortunately, I seem to have found a hole in the bible belt.Once upon a time I worked my land as an organic heirloom vegetable and herb farm; complete with chickens, turkeys and rabbits. Now,it is me, one rooster named Napolean and my dogs, Orson, the ADHD dog and Abbie the Mighty. The rule around here, unless you want constant Orson attention, is do not make eye contact, do not say his name. If, however, you want to play a rigorous game of fetch, he is your dog.Abbie is the biggest, baddest bitch in her reality. All 2 pounds of her. She will attach herself to the side of Orson's head, in a display of her obvious dominance, when Orson has overstepped his bounds. Orson demonstrates his submission by standing quietly while this raging bit of minutiae hangs from his face, snarling like a rabid gerbil.Oh...and the cats, lots of cats...I can see the future... Crazy woman dies of hairball...Very bucolic, don't you think?I work at an organic herb company to... well... earn money, but more importantly to get a break from my life as a solitary troll woman. Yay! for me... if I have to work in the 'real' world, at least I can do something which I support. Not to mention, I love this job! It is challenging and always new. The people are among the most amazing I have had the pleasure to work with. Again...Yay! for me.My nature is to create. Whether it be patterns, systems, abstracts, or food. My goal is to meet all my food, financial and intellectual needs, solely, from my labours on this small chunk of land I call home. Okay, maybe eccentric would be a better choice of word, but it's my profile and I'm good with eclectic.I am an eternal optimist and love to laugh, fortunately, I find humour all around me.When I'm not working, digging in the gardens, remodeling my old barn house, working on my art, or pondering the imponderables,I play in the river that runs through my land, with a glass of wine and watch as the world flows by.
I love images (bet you hadn't figured that out, huh?)... must be the aesthetic in me. To the creators of the following... "Thank you"
They speak to me in ways that defy words. To those of you that are visiting my profile, I hope you enjoy this little voyage into my nature. (Sorry about the load time... I've been told it is interminable. To be honest, I can't even view my own page anymore. Dial up is not for the impatient)I must interrupt the visuals for a moment to say that Hayato is one of the most amazing artists I have had the pleasure to see. Please look for his page and immerse yourself in his beautiful images.Oh, and I have a tendency to be quite verbose.I use the myspace layout generator at UltimateMySpace.com.
