About Me

Over the past few years, 99 names has sought out a melange of unique instrumentation to create music with an individualistic sound. We continuously morph in & out of various composition styles & blend unexpected genres together to write & perform less-conventional music. We definitely have some pop elements in the pieces, but we mix in dark, progressive, experimental & ethnic sounds to keep things a little on edge.

Our music as described by Fort Worth Weekly writer, Ken Shimamoto, is "a swirling vortex of sound" and our cd "Interwoven" rated a perfect score of 16 by Progression Magazine in 2004, we are currently writing & recording new pieces for our next release (title & release date tba).
