" Why would an old guy like me be out there going to Blues Clubs and mingling with people of every walk of life? Is it something he missed out on in his younger days? Is it to resassure himself that he is still in the groove? ....I don't think so! Its because its "Fun". So if you see me out there in my Chuck Taylor hightops and Levi Jeans...You can remember one thing. I will be having fun in one way or the other. I may be with my Daughter enjoying some Beer and Wine and Live Music. I may be rollin' solo in my Hot Rod GMC Pickup with no particular place to go......and with nothing of interest in mind. I will, however, be having "Fun" and doin' it My Way!......"

My 'All Time' favorite Guitar Player. Mr. Jimi Hendrix has had a greater impact on Guitar Players around the World than any other Musician has. His Insane Rifs and Dangerous Licks made him an Icon of the Blues Guitar. I freaked out the first time I heard 'Hey Joe'....I never got over the sound and tone of his Stratocaster. I still get chills when I play an MP3 file of his work. There is an end to all songs, but we lost a good Musician to Drugs and Alcohol. The funny thing is....He never got any recognition for his Blues Guitar work. The Death from Drugs was a better story I guess. Plus at the time, Pop was where the Money was in the 60s and the Blues took second seat to it. He was the Best at Blues Improv in his day and will always be remembered by those of us who really know and Love his Blues Tracks..."
