"Johnny" is not your typical run of the mill top 40 cover band. As founding members (King) Dave Barrios and Billy Lindsey would tell you, "Johnny isn't a band, it's a philosophy!" "Johnny" does not believe music is about the musicians in the band, or how many notes they can crowd into four bars of music, it's "ALL ABOUT THE AUDIENCE!" Once bitten by "Johnny's" infectious attitude, you will never look at top 40/ cover music the same way.What seperates "Johnny" from most all other bands on the scene is their ability to pretty much play what the audience request's. "Johnny's" never ending library of music allows them to provide exactly what the crowd wants. And if they don't know the song, they'll figure it out..."on the spot!" Another crowd pleaser at "Johnny" shows is the live Karaoke with the band. You think you got what it takes to front the band, well then bring your bad self on up to the stage! anyone who wants to come up and sing live with the band pretty much can! The result, crowds go from "anonymous part goer" to "American idols" in an all out party that seemingly never ends. Club owners are constantly trying to fit "Johnny" in their already busy schedules.Their name really shows how spontaneous and "on the spot" they really are. It came from the first time they played together ... they literally met together and played their first gig ... on the spot.
