Never married, no kids, no pets, no plants, no roommates, no crazy x = no drama!! Simplicity is how I like to live my life. Friends have described my personality type as out-going, bubbly, fun-loving, always smiling & laughing with a positive, upbeat persona.Career-wise, this is my 13th year in the Education field. After 12 years of being a classroom teacher, I have finally moved up in the ranks. The CCSD promoted me to the position of an "ELL Region Specialist" for the English Language Learner Program. Therefore, I am the project facilitator/teacher-trainer for K-12 grade classroom teachers [who have ELL students under their tutelage]. I provide these educators with various strategies, techniques, methods, skills, etc. for catering to this population of students. I also assist these teachers in being all the more effective, efficient, and engaging; which in turn, allows the ELL students to be more successful at school. Perhaps you can think of me as a "teacher of teachers!" if you will :)My past work experiences include: teaching jr. high math (7th & 8th gr. Pre-Algebra), teaching 1st grade, 2nd grade, and adult education in China -- I lived in Puyang City/Henan Province...taught ESL {English as a Second Language} to Chinese college students.In my free time, one could find me working out, tanning, playing volleyball, raquetball, riding on the back of motorcycles, jet-skiing at the lake, or snowboarding/skiing. To take advantage of the Las Vegas night life, I LUV country line-dancing, movies, dinners, stage shows, comedy clubs, lounges, piano bars, concerts, and basically anything but the "techno clubs."I moved to Las Vegas back in 1981, so I have been living here for 28 years now, and couldn't imagine living anywhere else! I'm originally from southern CA--born in Pasadena. Therefore, I enjoy driving over to visit relatives and of course the beaches!
