I love meeting new people & making new friends with those that can hold an inteligent conversation. (PLEASE SUSCRIBE TO MY BLOG). I don't like arguing about things that will never make a differance. Because we may disagree, that dosen't make us enemies, and it doesn't mean we have to be angry with one another. It simply means that we disagree. I am from Cherokee/Zulu heritage. I do alot of things, but my passion is music. I'm a musician/Songwriter/ Singer. I play trumpet, bass, keyboards. Which types of music do I like...? All types, but mostly Jazz, Love Songs... I love a good Love Song, Gospel, Miles Davis... In A Class All His Own. Every now and then I love listening to Mississippi Delta Blues. Why do I love music?... Music is a reflection of life... It is the way emotions sound... It's the easiest way I know to express myself. Who influenced me musically?... My Mom & Dad (My Mom is a singer in the church choir, a beautiful perfect pitch soprano, and my Dad is a singer/trumpet player... my first influence to pick up a musical instrument.) Louis Armstrong, Lionel Hampton, Dizzie Gillespie, Arturo Sandoval, Mahalia Jackson, Duke Ellington, Cab Calaway, Ella Fitzjerald, Dinah Washington, Harry Belfonte, Jimmy McGriff, Jack McDuff, James Brown, Sly Stone, Jimmy Hendricks, The Temptations, Diana Ross, Chaka Kahn, Bach, Beethoven, Chekovsky, Mozart, Wagner... and the list goes on. These are the wide diversity of musical artists that I heard while growing up as a child. I believe in living life to it's fullest. I know that through God all things are possible. Without His Son, there is no peace... no tranquility.
