When I sleep, I dream vividly. When I kiss, I kiss passionately. And when I love, I love unconditionally. But I am human, and often my mind thwarts the ambitions of my heart. Relentless is my wonderment at this fact. Not because I experience it. But because you do, too.I believe I am alive to have my heart caressed and twisted, embraced and tortured. And from these breaks, I find the meaning behind it all: that truth lies not with reason, but beneath shards of broken hearts. It is under these pieces that we find ourselves--our personal truths.I am a student of life and love, and from this school I will never graduate. But when the time comes for my expulsion, I hope to have gained those things that compose happiness--most rewardingly, wholeness.I am the worst kind of romantic there is.I am the romantic boy, honest and sweet, who is made not of cheerful forward-glances, but poisonous mirrors. A lusty lad who'll take me home and insist I wear a blindfold- then steal my TV and credit cards. A decent guy who won't stand a chance against my relentless cynicism and gives up in tears- then wins Powerball. A smart gentleman, who fuels my mind, then bores me at dinner so much I can't stop jabbing him repeatedly in the eye with a salad fork. An honest soul ready for love who takes me on two glorious dates- then on the third, falls in love with the waiter (I'll be at their wedding- serving dinner). A handsome romantic who'll pin me against a wall for a passionate kiss, then realize he's knocked me unconscious on the light sconce and walk away quickly. A perfect man who is lusty, decent, smart, honest and handsome, all at once- one that makes me never want to love another- and doesn't notice I'm selling his schitzophrenia meds for Everclear.
