Graham Playford

A new voice on the Canadian landscape, the Ontario born singer/songwriter traveled throughout Canada and the United States before settling in Montreal. Limitations and opportunities established with his degree in classical guitar performance and extensive touring with Tequila Mockingbird challenged Playford to create his own sonic tapestry. Founding a recording studio and producing other artists opened up new avenues of inspiration. A gifted lyricist, he continues documenting the back roads to the heart of roots, rock, folk and blues.He currently divides his time between writing original music, an ambitious performance schedule, composing scores for award winning videogames and independent films. His debut album will be released in early 2009.
