I'm a frustrated writer marking time in an office job and I am published cook who is again marking time in an office job.....I hate working in NYC and I hate my commute.....I was at MSG in 1994 when the New York Rangers won the Stanley Cup - by far the greatest moment in my life to that point - still in the Top 5 now........performed on Broadway for one night and one night only in March of 1979.......was a mascot for a minor league hockey team in 1987-88........I like golf but if I never played again it wouldn't miss it - my handicap is 13.1......the summer I spent during college in Wyoming as a woodcutter, maintenance man, gardener and a one day a week garbage man (for the 35 mile ride into town) was the summer I fell in love with the American West.....skiing in the east isn't happening anymore unless I have to for work.....I lost something I will never be able to find again in the bushes outside the casino in Monte Carlo......I quit drinking 20+ years ago and I don't miss it at all.......yardwork is therapy......I saw Bob Marley live in concert 18 months before he died - I saw Peter Tosh open for Jimmy Cliff - I partied in a bar with Third World and saw Toots & the Maytals in a tiny auditorium in New Hampshire - but the best show I ever saw was James Brown in a smoky little dive in Denver........Chipotle Tabasco can be used on almost anything and should be used liberally - I have had a tour of the Tabasco plantation from Paul McIlhenny himself - I felt like I had gone to Mecca........I workout on the NordicTrack every morning at a way too early hour and I once bought John Elway a lapdance at Shotgun Willie's.....there's a lot more to tell and it all comes out a few pieces at time over in my blog..
