About Me

I spent the first 6 years of my life growing up in Glacier National Park...Mom says that my siblings and I were as wild as the bear cubs and as beautiful as the wildflowers! The winters were sooooo incredibly long and brutal, but my little brother and sister and I always found plenty to get into to keep us occupied while we waited for Spring. The deep snows seemed to hang on forever up there...until June, it seemed like.We moved across the mountains, about 12 years ago, to Wild Horse Plains, Montana. We live in civilization now...small town, but it is civilization. There's a movie theatre, school system, small stores, car wash, hospital, lots of churches, etc. Still, I miss the wilderness of Glacier Park...and the blizzards.Growing up in the mountains, you develop a different view on life. The beauty of every evening's sunset is something the whole family watches. It's a big ordeal to watch the full moon rise over the mountains, casting it's luminescence across the horizon. The vivid color in each wildflower screams out for attention. You just don't watch TV when there is so much nature outside your window that takes your breath away. Activities are centered around family and music. Our folks always provided music for us...all kinds of music.I come from a family of musicians. So, I guess I can say that music flows through my veins. My Mom and Dad had musical careers when they were in Oklahoma. My big brother, Travis Kidd, is an entertainer down South and has won numerous awards down there. My younger brother, Boston, and sister, Callie, both play guitar and numerous other instruments, and sing also, as well as write their own songs. That leaves me, Meggie. I am a Christian with a very strong faith in God, and I am a singer/songwriter who also plays guitar, piano/keyboard, bass, flute, and numerous other weird little instruments. I have been training musically and performing publicly since I was 5 years old. I have one dream...that is to be on stage performing my music...on the main stage. Dad says I need a Plan B. That is also my Plan B. I have recently started recording demos of the songs I have written. Hope you enjoy them.Rock On! -Meggie
