About Me

Well, despite the fact that I am a computer geek, I'm also a naturalist. I love the outdoors, plants, animals, even the subtle background noise of a secluded spot. I've hiked in the Amazon rainforest and across the French/Swiss Alps just to get away from the distractions of the urban jungle.
I used to live in New York, so I do not find it as exciting as most suburbanites seem to, but its definitely a great place to spend a day (or night). Bars, clubs, assholes, museums, landmarks, crazy people NYC has it all.
Here's the cliffnotes version: I love my family and friends, my new condo appartment and my car, snowboarding, animals, working out, fresh air, smelling flowers, driving fast, watching cartoons, laying on grass and looking up at the clouds, playing with fire, taking it easy, going fast, working with tools, petting puppies, paintball, making an ass of myself as long as someone laughs, rocking out to loud obnoxious music and anything else that gets the blood flowing.

My Interests

Arts, Movies, Outdoor Activities, Travel, Computers, Playing Sports, Health/Fitness, Painball, Animals, Hiking, Driving, Snowboarding, People Watching, Music, Laying on Grass, Taking It Easy, Holding My Own, Striking a Pose, Representing, Keeping It Real, Sticking It to the Man.There are probably many things that I don't know exist, that I can't live without.

I'd like to meet:

Music:

This is a pretty long list... Basically, everything ranging from heavy metal, rock, rap metal and punk to... um. Well that's mostly it, but there's some hip hop and techno in there somewhere.Nothing better than something that can get the blood flowing, but, for the most part, I have to change the station when I've got passengers in my car...

Movies:

40 Year Old Virgin, Sin City, Donnie Darko, Wedding Crashers, Fight Club, Boondock Saints, American Pie, Snatch, American History X, Blow, Dogma, Crank. Those must be the favorites, because I can't remember any more...

Television:

Anything on Comedy Central, Discovery, History Channel or Cartoon Network. Fox has some pretty good shows too.

Books:

Still workin on the Alphabet.

Heroes:

Does spiderman count? I suppose he's a pretty good hero all things considered, but I guess fictional (and supernatural) characters aren't worthy of the title.I'll keep this one to myself for now.

Let it snow..

One inch of snow, what a tease.  Although it was quite pleasant to see those few flakes fall, I can't help but feel that I'd rather have no snow at all than just a taste of winter with no real su...

Bounce on the double put the pedal to the floor.

I think the Department of Transportation and the National Transportation Safety Board should expand on the whole idea of an HOV lane.  It's simple, if you meet the criteria (i.e. the number of oc...

do it like a rock star

You ever do it like a rock star?  When I break out my snowboard and hit that fresh powder it's like making music (or babies, one of the two).  I got my rock star face on you know, all thos...

So close and yet so far away...

Happiness is a funny thing.  Everyone hopes for it, most think they'll never attain it, some think they have, but few ever have.  It isn't defined by location or season, not by race or color...

there's nothing like some time alone to allow for some introspection and self-reflection.  it allows a person to analyze their behavior, their faults and weaknesses, and to better acquaint themse...
