Tara Lee is a breath of fresh air. An exciting new artist who is well-rounded and electrifying! She's originally from VA, but has quickly adjusted to the big city life.
Dancing was her intro, with classes since age 5 and full professional dance training attained, she set her sights on New York City. Tara initially struggled with the decision of what to focus on, dance or music. She began teaching hip-hop and jazz classes in the city to help pay for studio sessions.The singer in Tara came about by chance. While living in VA, she wrote and recorded a vocal demo which made it's way to a west coast producer in the underground house music scene. The producer made three tracks with her vocals and released them worldwide. Tara knew at that moment that she wanted to continue to sing and write, but she wouldn't give up dancing. She made her way to the bright lights, started working hard in the studio and performing in Manhattan and Brooklyn.
Tara Lee has teamed up with producers Sergio Vega (The Deftones, Quicksand) and Jim Williams (Maximum Penalty) a.k.a- The Jingle Brothers and is turning heads as we speak!
