Producer Thief is Ajay McFadden aka Melbourne dj gsan . Djing since the early nineties - collecting records since the age of 13. He has a long and extensive history as one of Australia’s premier beats djs. Thief has shared the stage with Kid Koala, RJD2 and Dj Krush, pushed the turntable arts as dj for Belleruche, hyped for Justin Timberlake and rocked the bells with De La Soul. Thief rolls with Fat Freddy’s Drop, played back to back with Mr Scruff and got lessons from Mixmaster Mike, Dj Food and The Herbaliser. Over the years he has performed regularly at Big Day Out, Good Vibrations, 331/3, Falls Festival and Great Escape.The THIEF EP released 2007 is an instrumental beats excursion in
tough hip hop drums, analogue bass lines, sampling and lavish strings.
