I've been DJ-ing since 1996/1997. For me the GOLDEN period of HIP-HOP!!!
In those days I loved to buy mixtapes from DJ's such as Rectangle , Tony Touch , PF Cuttin , ... and our own Belgian DJ Grazzhoppa. These tapes really inspired me to get down with what`s called now TURNTABLIZM!!!
After having heard these scratching skills , I also found out about the DMC-competition and saw DJ Noise and Swamp killing the turntables with precision!!! This meant the beginning of my neverending ( until now ) passion for Hip-Hop. After working like a dog for a while I finally achieved buying my first 2 Technics turntables and Technics mixer. Since that day, I`ve been collecting vinyls and mixtapes and I` ve been trying to express myself throughout Hip-Hop. During the past ten years , I`ve organised some parties and produced a couple of mixtapes , through which I was able to mix at several parties and in different clubs like : Fuse , Carrebeach , Club Lic , Recyclart , Athanor , The Lounge , G-spot , Vondel , The Pole , Melrose , Owaezzz , New Movies , Arena , Silo , The Mixxx , Radio Contact , Cafe Aman , Octopus festival , Nandrin festival , I love may , Wax club , Fetes de la musique (LYON) , Tele Bxl , B- Club , botanique , ancienne belgique , evizza and lots of other parties , radio-stations , bars , festivals and bedrooms ;-) I`ve also worked or shared stage with other artists , such as : My dawg Senso aka Jimmy double edge , Bignem , Mc Orion , Ste Strausz ( France ) , Magic system (COTE D`IVOIRE) , Rey Cabrera (CUBA) , Front 242 , Psaip , CNN , Kaye Styles , ... and DJ`s like Stallion (official numark dj, Germany) , Cut Killer (France) , Daddy K , jekey (esp) , Sake , Cosmic , Joss , Hmd , ND , Man , Kane , Killa Tactics , Mystique , Risk , Kc , Solo , Leftoooo , Scrab-d , Keso , Razorcut (AKRO) , Boom-a-Ranks , Mst , Maestro , Flex , Jugglin`Discotheque , Full bass , B-kay , lsss , Track , My Boyz Vega and illmatic the soundpainter , ...
In the year 2006 I joined forces with a band named JOSHUA. This band (vocals, turntablizm , guitar , electronics) makes what we call 4 wheel drive music. Music which is influenced by a lot of styles like Hip-Hop , Electro , Punk , Rock , Soul , ... For more info check www.joshuanoise.com.
