Reginald O'Brian Coffey -born April 7th 1969 in Monroe North Carolina to Ms. Emma Marie Coffey and Mr. Billy Bruce Williams. He spent most of his childhood years with his grandparents, the late Benjamin Cousart and Mrs. Doretha Cousart in Waxhaw NC. He attended Parkwood High School and graduated in 1988. After graduating, Pastor Coffey moved to Pennsauken's, New Jersey with cousins Lavern and Ronnie Thompson. While there he attended The Computer Learning Center in Philadelphia Pennsylvania and graduated with an Associate Degree in Computer Operations in 1992.....Pastor Coffey was blessed to have special people that nurtured and ministered to him while away from home. Those persons being, Pastor and Mrs. Carl Brown (adopted godparents) and Pastor LaMont McLean (Living Faith Christian Center) who first spoke ministry into his life...Later that year the Lord spoke and told him to return home to North Carolina and he was obedient to his command. At an early age Pastor Coffey accepted the Lord Jesus as his Savior. He attended North Corner A.M.E. Zion with his grandmother and later joined Deliverance Apostolic Church of God with his mother, which is now Word of Faith Church.
After attending there a number of years, he moved his membership to New Town Road Community Church which became his home for more than fifteen years. Pastor Coffey then joined the Marvin A.M.E. Zion Church (Pastor Henrico D White) where he faithfully served on the Praise Team, Youth Department, Concert Choir (Voices of Judah), Singles ministry and Pastor's Armor Bearer.
Pastor Coffey has always loved to give God praise thru singing, but little did he know God had other plans for his life. In July of 1994, he accepted his call to preach and on October 29, 1995 preached his trial sermon at Marvin A.M.E. Zion Church under the leadership of Rev. Henrico D white. His Topic was "It's God Way or NO Way." and God is still having his way in his life. He was given his first opportunity to preach at Spirit of the Living God Ministries at the invite of then Reverend and Evangelist Walters. In 2005 he accepted the call as Pastor and was appointed to the Mt. Zion A.M.E. Zion Church with 2, yes two, active members, a mortgage of $1900 a month and with God's help and the anointing of the Holy Ghost membership grew to 60 on roll during the first two years.
About five years ago God started dealing with Pastor Coffey about Higher Praise " just like preaching, starting a new ministry was the last thing on my mind but again God had other plans it's still God's Way Or NO Way , he gave me the name first and then the VISION " Now here we are. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!!
