...It shall e done for you have you have believed.--God (Matthew 8:13)

About Me

I believe it is important to be honest, with yourself first and only then will you be able to share that honesty with someone else. I'm a thinker, feeler, emotionalist, and I am hopeful with regard to romance. I adore my family and my friends. I'm growing stronger spiritually everyday, but each day is not without trials or tests. I appreciate a challenge...in any area of life because I believe challenges build our character or show us our character. I also believe what Albert Einstein said, "Great thinking is always in violent opposition to mediocre minds." I am always seeking knowledge. There are practical and object lessons in everyday situations, I look to learn them. I love people. I value life and the experiences it brings. I value me. I like to laugh!!!

My Interests

Life Enhancement....

I'd like to meet:

People that are just nice (straight up). Honest people...good folks with high moral values and standards. I think that an initial meeting should not be longer than an hour--if you enjoy the company, you can always plan to meet again. However, if you are in tremendous pain and torment because the person you're meeting is a great disappointment (and from time to time it happens), then you've only wasted an hour. I'm finding that my tolerance for ignorant, foolish, insensitive and drama-driven individuals has been depleted for a while, so I try to avoid those personalities and situations. But, they sneak up on me from time to time. But...more than any of those people, I want to meet the Lord (in peace).

Music:

Gospel Music: The Winans from 87 to present--when they were on vinyl records; Dorinda Clark-Cole; John P Kee; Vicki Yohe; GA and Tye Tribbett (except all that jumping around they do--just a bit too murch for me...yep that's M-U-R-C-H); Kirk Franklin; Bishop Paul Morton, Sr; Hezekiah Walker and LFC (Lift Him Up!! I could hear that song over and over again and not be tired); Rance Allen and others. R&B: Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Mint Condition, Whitney (She can change y'all), George Michael, Paul Morton, Jr, Tamia, Amel L., James Brown, some George Clinton and Parliment, some others. Jazz: Chris Botti, Michael Burton, Steven Tyrell, Duke Ellington, The Count, Billie Holliday, and my brother is a bad drummer and considered great by some of the greatest...(he truly is the real thing)....

Movies:

The Lord of the Rings Trilogy; The Godfather Parts 1 and 2; Schindler's List; Coach Carter; Beauty and the Beast (Disney), Something New; Robocop (first movie I ever saw in the theatre),there some others, but I can't think of them right now. ...

Books:

I like most anything written by John C Maxwell, right now I'm reading a three in one book: The Winning Attitude, Developing the Leaders Around You, Becoming a Person of Influence. Joyce Meyers is nice as well as Charles Swindoll. I like the Bible too. :)--there is so much goodness in it. I read up on Finances, but I don't know too much about it (so I'm trying to help myself....if you're reading this, aside from REAL ESTATE, if you have any tips...please share them with me).

Heroes:

My wonderful and loving Parents (Married 33 years and going), Grandparents, YOU-if you are doing something positive.
