Iodine (Add Me As a Friend!!)

Iodine was born and raised in the L.A. underground scene. A fluid mix between Outkast, the Beastie Boys and the Clash. Iodine's earliest influences were the mid 90s Hip -Hop groups like Freestyle Fellowship and The Pharcyde. Later he moved to New York where his style went in a different direction. Spending time in traditional hip hop clubs, and open mics spots, as well as absorbing the beginnings of the Indie Rock/Punk experience, Iodine formed a common ground by fusing both musical worlds. Chooseing to freestyle over break beats mixed with Led Zepplin or Nirvana, Iodine has created a musical journey paying homage to the great founders of Rock and classic Hip-Hop.
