J.Cobb is one of hip-hop's most talented rising stars. Born and raised in Detroit, he plans to change the rap game.
Not only is Cobb an artist, he is also a musician. Cobb has the ability to play several musical instruments, and is classically trained in the piano. Throughout high school, J developed his writing skills, and shortly after graduating joined forces with the independent label Embassy Coalition.He spent a year with EC, both rapping in a group and managing all of their business dealings. Eventually, however, J. Cobb decided it was time to focus on his own career. He has started his own company, Blank Check Entertainment Inc., and currently is working with acclaimed producer Randy Lynch, and DJ Invisible.
