Well The Magical Tale goes as such.... Uncle Z and Waffle started an "electronica" band called dinosars in 10th grade. They had a few songs, most notably "you're a cunt, you're a ho, I am made out of ice cream," which they first performed for Timmy, Jon Chee, and Visco.
Suddenly in about March or April they forgot about their band and just sort of said,
"whatever."
But then in the summer before 11th grade, in July, they were listening to songs from Sponge Bob and some harpsichord bands when Waffle started writing a song. And then Merav was dragged in. So...
Waffle grabbed a synthesizer, tried to put Zakiya on keyboard, put Merav on keyboard, and Zakiya the asshole he is grabbed a harmonica. We played a song over and over with a drum machine until someone was like, "hey Zakiya, start singing". It was beautiful. We started taking leasons from no one and started learning mutilating some of our favorite songs by other bands.
Then one day Waffle said "I wrote something." Merav and Zakiya said, "oh wait we already did that because we started by writing our own music." Thus Dinosars was formed! We started making up more stuff and we're still making stuff up. We think it sounds good, whether or not it does.
And then we recruited Timmy because she can actually play and read music. And she brought new joys and wonders to us each and every day.
