About Me

Tribe

Tribe is a community based Harm Reduction and HIV Prevention Center for all queer people. Although Tribe focuses on the health issues of GBTQQI (Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, and Intersex) men of all ages, Tribe acknowledges the support of the whole community to create a healthy environment for all queer people.

The goal of Tribe is to reduce the spread of HIV by utilizing Harm Reduction that addresses the reality in which we live, love, and have sex. Tribe accomplishes its goal by providing a space for the celebration and exploration of sexuality in an uncensored context, encouraging participants to make self-empowering choices.

Currently, Tribe offers HIV Testing for GBTQQI (Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Questioning, and Intersex) men. Tribe is also currently engaged in hosting a movie night once a month on the second Tuesday of the month from 6 to 8:30 PM. Tribe is constantly evolving and soon hopes to incorporate social events, outreach, support groups, creative projects, informational programming and social groups into its structure.
