Biography
As you all can see in the cover page, we are Stress A.P (stress among preassure). This band started in late 2004 by Joshua (Joshi, 2nd guitar), asking Ernest (Nestito, lead guitarrist) to join in his effort in improving both their skills. A couple of weeks later they asked Harold (drummer). After about a month of insistence, Edwin (Winci) finally accepted in by playing bass. They learned the first covers of our wide variety of influences such as: Killswitch Engage, Atreyu and Avenged Sevenfold. Later they accepted me into the band, as the final member the frontman: Jorge (George) in late april 2005.
With the addition of the vocalist we started with our first couple of songs in wich we played in our debut show in august 2005 with our first five songs. But with the inspiration of more metal-core and death metal influences we started to change our style involving death metal rhythims, intense breakdowns and some melodies. Though we liked the first four tracks, we later realized that they had a different style and we decided to ban them from the shows.
We have played in many shows but it's never enough. Our goal for now is to get our sound out in Puerto Rico. In late 2006: "Alcolado music" released a cd compilation representing bands from around the island in wich we are a part of. It is called "United We Suck". Though improvement was seen through several months of intense practice, we finished our role in creating songs at the end of summer but not before playing a cover of As I Lay Dying, our most significant influence.
