How Do

About Me

Right then a little bit about me. I grew up in a small village called Oakworth which is located next to Howarth in West Yorkshire. I had lived there for most of my life but have recently moved to Sheffield.Job wise I am an mechanical engineer by trade and work as a development engineer for a company based in the outskirts of leeds. Down side to my job is i dont get payed over time, good aspects are that i get to do alot of travelling throughout the world, and no two days are the same. Oh yes another downside to my job is that i always end up travelling economy. 6'3" in economy does not mix well lol. When i am not working i enjoy either playing or watching football, golf, tennis, cycling, walking etc. I also wind down by listening to what i call music (i am sure my house mates from uni will call it something else lol), doing puzzles, reading etc.Me, my girlfriend and a good friend of mine walked the yorkshire three peaks last year and ached like hell the following day. We will be doing it again this year if anyone is interested.

I made my myspace layout using Pimp-My-Profile.com

My World Visitor Map!

Music:

My old man brought me up on Dire Straits & The Beach Boys. I really do like anything from rock & pop to clasical. Prefer things with lyrics but it does all depend what kind of mood i am in or what i am doing. Never really been able to get into jazz though, but one of my favourite songs is "Moon dance" by Van morrison. The people i listen to the most are: James, Oasis, Cast, Rolling Stones, Stone Roses, Fleetwood Mac, The Who, Dire Straits, Blur, Lightning Seeds etc. Songs I can listen to again and again are: Cast No Shadows - Oasis, Tomorrow - James, Brothers In Arms - Dire Straits (for guitar), Go Your Own Way - Fleetwood Mac, Made Of Stone - Stone Roses & Sympathy For The Devil - Rolling Stones.

Movies:

Fave films have to be in no particular order:Top Gun, Blazing Saddles, Blues Brothers, Forrest Gump, Blade (1, 2 & 3), lost boys (any vamp film though really; used to love watching Cushings Creepy's as a kid), Rush Hour (1 & 2), Casino Royal, Ghost Busters, Full Metal Jacket, Highlander, Me myself & Irene, Fugitive, Hear No Evil See no Evil, just to mention a few. Really enjoyed the Bourne films as well.Got brought up watching cowboy films, mainly staring Clint EastwoodThere are loads more but some are a wee bit embarasing so i will keep them to myself if you dont mind.

Television:

Will watch almost any sport on tv, even more so when England is being represented. Really like comedies though. Friends, only fools & horses, coupling, max & paddy, have i got news for you, scrubs etc. the list goes on. Really like 24 and thought Band Of Brothers was amazing. Dont get time to watch too much tv. Usually not alot on worth watching though

Books:

Usually read books with a bit of action. Like reading books by Andy McNabb, Chris Ryan, Dean Koontz & Thomas Harris.

Heroes:

Jackie Chan, Clint Eastwood, Gene Wilder & Richard Pryor.
