"The writing process for this album spanned 3 years so from beginning to end
probably about 50 songs. But, once I realized I had started an ALBUM - most of those songs
were not even in the running to be on it. I was sort of aimlessly writing with no direction
until How to Build A Time Machine.. So
25 songs in total were recorded in final form for the album.
No more, no less.
Anything else that you see appear is either a demo from the writing sessions that never made it
past the demo phase
or a side project.Fallen Angel was never intended to be seen as a part of this project.
It was a side project that never saw to the light of day. I thought it was a great song
so wanted you to hear it, but it was never part of the story.
The album as it stands, every track, the order, the sound, the artwork.. all of it.. is exactly how
I wanted it to be."
