Laid Back Stylez (aka delly baby)

Singer, songwriter, musician, and model Laid Back is a Chicago Native.He was born and raised on the South Side of Chicago. He began singing as child regurlarly at Pastor J.P Hadnott(his Grandmother's) church House Of Prayer C.O.G.I.C. located on Chicago's South Side. He was drawn to that soulful singing, heartfelt, tear jerking music from the start. He sang in the choir with his sisters and played drums. Coming up as a teen he struck an interest in R&B. He listened to Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and his favorite R&B group Jodeci. He was captivated by the passion and soulfulness of these great entertainers. As time progressed Jodeci became his musical mentors. Devante's hip-hop/classic old school R&B production; Jo Jo & KC's powerhouse, soulful vocal stlye and the group lady's man image as a whole. He released his first independent project in July 06. These days being he's working on his sophmore album, soon to be released late 2006. Stay tuned to my space.com for updates.
