C-Notes is an aspiring rapper coming from Providence, Rhode Island. Born in West End of the South Side, he went through elementary school in Providence. His mother moved to Ohio in hopes of a better life for her two twin boys. C-Notes went to middle school and high school in Ohio, going to many different schools while there. The main reason besides money and his love for hip hop, C-Notes is rapping because the main artist and songs on the radio all have lost there connection with the fans. C-Notes dropped his first mixtape "The Recession" November 27, on Thanksgiving day of 2008. This mixtape had been in the making since 2006. Some tracks off this mixtape include It's A Recession, I Don't Need 'Em, Hood Politics, Midnight Grind & True To This Shit. C-Notes dropped his second mixtape "World TakeOver" December 25, on Christmas of 2008. Some tracks off this mixtape include The World TakeOver, Survival Of The Fittest, Tha Hot Spitta, Move The Crowd & I'm Shootin'. C-Notes dropped his third mixtape "A New Hope For The Radio" on January 21, 2009. This mixtape dropped the day after Barack Obama was inaugurated into office. This mixtape was made, song for song, to have hits. Lyrical, radio ready songs. Some tracks off this mixtape include A South Side Nigga, Me & My Radio, Older Featuring Sparko, Stackin' My C-Notes & Lamborghini Featuring MC NT. C-Notes dropped his fourth mixtape "Mountain High" on April 20, 2009. The date 4/20 is famous for being a national marijuana holiday. This entire mixtape a made you be listened to while celebrating this holiday. Some tracks off this mixtape include Mountain High, Day 'N Nite Featuring Kid Cudi, Lighting Up My Life, I Feel Like Dying & I Get So High. C-Notes dropped his fifth mixtape "Halftime" on June 8, 2009. This is also C-Notes' birthday. Halftime is a double disc mixtape, with a total of 32 tracks. Some tracks off this mixtape include Livin' In The Projects Featuring Tupac, Lay 'Em Down, Ain't Fucking Wit' C-Note$, Still At It & Savages. C-Notes dropped "Halftime: Disc 2" on July 4, 2009. Some tracks off this mixtape include Relax & Take Notes, The Legacy, Fuck The Police, An Emcee Known As X & If Your Wondering. C-Notes will be dropping his sixth mixtape "The Great Depression" on September 11, 2009. This mixtape is what some would call Sci-Fi rap, but a lot of the topics on the lp are about Religion, God, Politics, Illuminati & Conspiracy theories.
