I have finally booked my gap year!!! I'm going to Namibia for two months volunteering at a centre for abandoned animals! I go on a safari too, which I can not wait for :-) Then I'm going to Thailand for two months. I'll be doing a trek through the jungle (eek!), living with monks for a few days learning about funky Buddhism, going to a beach for a bit of sun (woo seeing as I'm as pale as possibly can be at the moment) and then working in an orphanage for 4 weeks. After that I'll be in Australia for about a year. Not sure where I'll be living/working - so if anybody has any places to recommend, let me know!!Never sure what to write on these sort of things :-)I was looking out of my window the other day (as I do when I am bored) and I saw three little boys - aged about 10-13 - walking down the street singing 'We are family, I’ve got all my sisters with me'!! Also this week I almost had a panic attack when a lovely Scottish policeman rang me up. He was ringing me with a work related thing but I was so scared he was going to shout at me that I couldn’t hear what he was saying and I got all panicky. How much of a nerd am I?! I am currently reading a book written by a woman who went crazy and eventually killed herself. The next book on my list of books to read is about evolution and mutations and I’m reading it for fun because I love genetics!! On Easter Monday I went to Haworth with Hayley and I dressed as Mrs Claus - seriously, I looked like Christmas with my green tshirt and red jacket! Nice and Christmassy! The other night I had a dream that MTV Cribs were filming at my house (except it wasn‘t my house, as my “dream“ house had a pool with sharks in it) and I had a really, really blonde baby boy.Ay Keepong to everyone!
