Bio Snapshot:
I've had a pretty diverse and distinguished 20+ year career within the wine industry.
After an enlistment in the Submarine Service of the United States Navy, I joined an ex-shipmate who was attending the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, New York. I took a job at Millbrook Vineyards and spent almost five years learning to grow grapes and make wine as the Vineyard Supervisor.
I also have had the pleasure ofworking with:
Cascade Mountain Vineyards, Wine Society of America, WineShopper.com and Paterno Imports
After leaving Paterno, I pursued my desire of combining years of wine experience with the burgeoning Internet, and after several months of computer courses I developed a website for a multi-state retail liquor chain.
That work lead to the development of LocalWineEvents.com - which is now the largest food and drink calendar in the world!
