My name is Sarah West.. I’m an artist and songwriter from Denmark .
I live and breathe for music as I sing, write and play instruments.I have been singing and writing since I was very little, I probably wrote my first song when i as 8.. I never took singinglessons, but spend most my time singing in the church where my mom and dad use too take me. I also started writing songs for the choir, and we released 3 albums with great succes.In 2007 I was signed too my first publishingcompany, Goodsongs, and since then, things have been developing in the right direction..
I also took a chance in hope of making my dream come true, by going to New York City in August 2007. I didn’t know anyone in America, so I was really on my own for a while. But one night I was "discovered" by a guy, who believed in my talent and now I’m working with some really talented producers, songwriters and singers.. I’ll be going back to NYC in April on my first promotion tour:)
I’ve build up my own network of songwriters in Skandinavia, and I’ve been working with some of the best (in my opinion).
The 2 danish songs on my list here on Myspace, are written as charity songs for a Danish Help organisation: "Ungdomsproblemer" (meaning,Youthproblems).My goal is too make a living of what I love the most, and create music that relates too everybody.
