About Me

In a word adaptable. I firmly believe that life is what you make of it. Everyone has goals, hopes, and dreams, but the ability to adjust them and compromise is where true happiness can be achieved. I am a woman of today with appreciation for the values of years past. My husband was my first everything and still here we are. We both came with pasts that have made us better people. That's why I am whatever role I need to be for those I love. Selfless rather than selfish. My husband and my children complete me. The goals of my teenage years have been replaced with new hopes and aspirations to be achieved as a family unit. While they may not be as adventurous or demonstrative of my abilities they are practical and beneficial to not just me, but us. Together we will make our path in life. Together we will combine all our skills and talents and grow. Layout made by chel at CreateBlog.com .

My Interests

In general I'm a woman with a lot of interests. Too many for the hectic schedules of today, but never afraid to try anyhow. Deadlines amuse me. Personal hobbies would include Floral Design, Landscaping, Poetry, and dabbling a bit with an old high school passion for photography. I recently purchased a new digital camera and photoshop. I have used film forever but am excited to learn all that digital has to offer now. Family hobbies include camping, hiking, and enjoying everything God and Mother Nature have to offer.

I'd like to meet:

Photographers both amateur and pro. Models who aren't afraid of the lens and being creative. Other people from other countries and cultures. I'd love to be able to save up and travel when my girls are a little older. Australia, China, Africa, etc. There is so much out there to experience and learn hands on. Below is a current portrait of my family taken by a family friend, Melody. (Michelucci Photography) and a pic of my husband and I at my high school prom (told ya we've been together forever!)

Music:

Instrumental, Alternative, Country, Techno. I guess I have an appreciation for a little bit of everything depending the mood. I can't however get into metal or hardcore rap. I believe they have too much chaos to really feel the music.

Movies:

I mainly like Family type movies. The remake of Yours, Mine, and Ours was great. A newer rental that's a family must see is Blue Butterfly.

Television:

Who has time for TV?

Books:

Too many to mention, but my faves are those that make you examine your own life and realize that no matter how negative things can seem there always is a positive. After all that is the science of a battery right?

Heroes:

My grandparents. They always did anything they could for anyone. They worked so hard, and loved so much. I'd love to grow old with my hubby the way they have together. Do it Anyway - by Mother Teresa. People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered; Forgive them anyway. If you are kind, People may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives; Be kind anyway. If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies; Succeed anyway. If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you; Be honest and frank anyway. What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight; Build anyway. If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous; Be happy anyway. The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow; Do good anyway. Give the world the best you have, and it may never be enough; Give the world the best you've got anyway. You see, in the final analysis, it is between you and God; It was never between you and them anyway.
