About Me

Back off

My Interests

Music, technology, politics, altered states of mind, intelligent conversation and things so silly you would be embarrassed to tell the FBI under interrogation.

I'd like to meet:

You in ropes.

Music:

Pretty much everything except (most) rap, country and folk music. U2, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Tool, Police, Social D, Prodigy, Marilyn Manson, Paul Oakenfold, Franz Ferdinand, Foo Figters, Korn, Duran Duran, Coltrane, Garbage, Morissey, Rage, Pink Floyd, Theivery Corporation, Paul Van Dyk, Digweed, Mike Oldfield, Eminem, Cyndi Lauper, Led Zeppelin, Miles Davis, Getz, Massive Attack, Portishead, Everything but the Girl, Cure, Depeche Mode, Verve, Coldplay, Interpol, Helmet, Jimmy HendrixGot it?

Movies:

I hate most movies, mainly because a) they suck, b) are boring, c) have heard/seen it done better elsewhere or d) could have been great and missed the mark enough to be painful to watch. With that said, movies I like are: Lawrence of Arabia, Abre los Ojos, 007 movies with Sean Connery, Indiana Jones series, Star Wars 4, 5, 3 and 6 (in that order), Gross Pointe Blank, Pulp Fiction, Forrest Gump, 8 Heads in a Duffle Bag, Almost Famous, Breakfast Club (shuttup), Repo Man, Amores Perros, Apocalypse Now!, Kill Bill, Austin Powers 1, BASEketball, Sunset Boulevard, Donnie Darko, El Mariachi, Dirty Harry, Fight Club, Galaxy Quest, Godfather Series, Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, Trainspotting, Memento, Mummy, Natural Born Killers, One Hour Photo, Pay It Forward, Rushmore, Space Balls, Being John Malcovich, Star Trek 2, Escape from NY, Superbad

Television:

South Park!, Miami Vice, The Shield, Aqua Teen Hunger Force, Star Trek, Family Guy, Dexter, Metalocalypse and generally... TV sucks.

Books:

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Bell Curve, DaVinci Code, many many books on politics, history and other boring subjects.. wait, nevermind i can't read.

Heroes:

Timothy Leary, Thomas Jefferson, Hunter S. Thompson, Allen Ginsberg, Mark Twain and The Guy Who Got Away With It.
