- the silent ballet ( link ) BIO!!! josh is a guy who was writing some songs and thought they were cool so he was looking for a drummer and he remembered that matt was a drummer who played some beats that were pretty cool and seemed pretty cool so josh got in touch with matt. and they jammed. and it was pretty cool. josh showed matt his songs and matt said they were pretty cool. and they jammed and jammed and jammed. and out of this jamming came a more expansive album concept and better arrangements and even some more songs collaboratively written. and it was pretty cool.
some time soon after (around june of o'eight, we think), these awesome guys were joined by the ruffians eric and rodney to assist in bringing swansaw's big music to the big stage. like many other things previously mentioned in these paragraphs, this is thought to be pretty cool. many researchers feel that eric's rare arcane knowledge and rodney's unique cynicism will bring a particular zest to the live performances that would have otherwise been rather lacking.
as of october of 2008, the finishing touches had been put on the band's debut full length, (insert more buzz words), and all that was left to do was get the art finished and press copies. and gig extensively.
the album, called Flight and Falling, was forged in the basement of the fabulous Evensen complex. Only the finest preamps and kinetic recording devices were used-- primarily a tape machine we call David. He is about the size of one New York City block. David is powered by the purest coal. All instruments and equipment used on this album, excluding Josh's amp, were at minimum 50 years old at the time of its creation. Josh's amp is brand new and solid state and he hates it.
the day now is february nineteenth. the year is 2009. flight and falling isn't pressed yet, but that
will happen. it IS, however, available for download. a new album called adfiasdgofulasdf is also being written. all of the things that remained to be done two paragraphs ago remain undone still, but courage!
courage! big plans may be piling up higher by the minute, but swansaw are men. swansaw are powerful men with powerful powers.
so things will turn out pretty cool.
