DJ Shauny C

Since the turn of the Millenium Shauny C has been playing various styles of dance music including Hard Dance, Gabba, and of course his first love Hardcore at various events around the UK. Including Raver Baby, HTID at the Ministry of Sound in London and Vibealite in Leeds.

Having attended his first rave at ‘Helter Skelter - Lost in music’, Shaun acquired the love for hardcore and wanted to make an impact within the scene. It wasn’t until 2001 that Shaun received his first booking along side fellow DJ Abeyance at Sundissential at the Sanctuary in Birmingham in the main arena.

In 2003 Shaun was invited to work alongside prolific producer DJ UFO (Raver Baby, Essential Platinum) along with Abeyance and produced his first tune ‘In my dreams’. Shaun has worked with various producers such as Dougal, Mickey Skeedale, Gammer and Abeyance using their knowledge and expertise, to his advantage learning various studio skills to produce his own music. Having already produced various tracks including ‘Have you ever’, ‘I feel alive’ which has been played out by various DJ’s from Hardcore’s elite including Dougal, Breeze and Styles to name a few. Shaun in his spare time is concentrating on building a discography, currently with over 10 tunes to date.

In 2005 Shauny C and Abeyance have gone their separate ways due to musical differences, with Shaun sticking to his first love Hardcore. With Shaun’s hard work, determination and love for the scene. Shaun has earned a lot of respect with his fellow DJ’s and his talent has been recognised especially by Hixxy, a respected figurehead within the Hardcore scene. Being part of the ‘Future Breed Collective’ earning him a booking at HTID8 at the prestigious Ministry of Sound, London. Gaining him one of his biggest bookings to date. Since this prestigious booking Shaun continued to play for Hixxy at Raver Baby and HTID.

In the summer of 2006 Shauny C managed to secure a residency at the established 'Vibealite' Event based in Leeds. Shauny C is lookin forward to 2007, having produced a number new tracks which he is lookin forward to play out and gain more bookings. Shauny C has just secured another residency at Raveology after playing playing at 'Raveology Strikes Back' in December 2006, where he was the first DJ to play upfront hardcore at this event.

The summer of 2007 will be the ground breaking HTID in the Sun 2007, where Shauny C is one of the many 100 of artist's featured at this collosal week long raving extraganza !!!
