I'm a classical percussion player, graduated at the Amsterdam Conservatory. I started
playing when I was ten, somehow in order to keep me busy and away from stupid
things kids like to do (as TV?). Well, as you can see I really liked it. Eventhough my
academic musical direction is classical percussion (Timpani, Marimba,...), my own
direction is ...?(definition unavailable)?... .
In the classical world my thing are the orchestral timpani (you feel like the Queen up there).
Next to that: theater percussion (means things where performance, light and stage are
important) and live electronics (check out Agaya-Shi). Outside the classical world: ambient
music with Bram Stadhouders Korps. And further out there I play Latin percussion.

This is the other "passion": photography. I coudn't really decide between photography
and music (well obviously I decided) but I keep on going with my photography.
