About Me

Myspace Backgrounds
Well... I grew up by the seaside and liked to play sport with the boys, I didn't have any interest in giggling about silly things with the girls, but secretly I did...now I do...but I'm not a real girly girl, I'm not afraid of spiders, they've normally just lost their way and don't want to harm anyone.I believe in the good of the world.I love my family, and my friends. I forgive pretty easily, sometimes that's the only way you can love anyone continuously.I believe in peace, between all sorts of things, and sometimes the beauty of the world astounds me. Sometimes I can wake up grumpy, and then all of a sudden I realise I'm happy, and it turns out something or someone happened and that everything is ok!

My Interests

I like to read, novels, poetry, atlases, encyclopedias (wikipedia...). I like saying hello to the sun every morning! and having a good stretch! I like to ride my bicycle. I like to photograph and would one day like an extensive camera collection. A piece of captivating art. A good conversation. A good eat. A good wasabi. A good person. A good cry. A good sleep in. A good hurty laugh. A good kiss! A good song. A good lesson learned.

I'd like to meet:

Most people have a thing to say, you just gotta give 'em a chance! I'd also like to meet an Atlas.

Music:

Janis Joplin the coolest lady ever. Jolie Holland, Ella Fitzgerald, Billy Holiday and Bessie Smith and Holly Golightly. John Lee Hooker, Robert Johnson, Muddy Waters, the blues.... Calexico, Bob Dylan, The Shins, Iron and Wine, Art of Fighting, M83, The Notwist, Air, The White Stripes, oh goodness too many...Check out how cool Janis Joplin is:

Movies:

elaborately imaginative movies. romantic comedies. comic book movies. My Girl..."I used to like to play with my Ken and Barbie dolls. Ken was my favorite. Then one Christmas I got them a camper and all they wanted to do was hang out in it by themselves. So I wasn't too upset when they took that wrong turn and went over the cliff."

Television:

m*a*s*h, mork and mindy

Books:

Many. Salman Rushdie, Janet Frame, Sylvia Plath, Dirty old Bukowski... almost all of the beat guys. Jonothan Safran Foer. Dylan Thomas. Jean Rhys. Evelyn Waugh. John Cheever. Holly Butler. Sam Hunt. Hone Tuwhare. The phantom Tollbooth, ALice in Wonderland, I read the alchemist recently, it seemed to make a lot of sense, as does the little prince. I like reading things that make me think about life in more simplistic ways like that. Life is too confusing sometimes.

Heroes:

All of you wonderfull people! and Bill Murray and special agent Dale Cooper
