MacDameon Daniel Simpson “MacDame”Originally from Sacramento, California, MacDame is the son of James D. Simpson, Sr. and Rhonda J. Roby. Raised in an urban neighborhood, MacDame, along with his brother James, grew up in foster homes. Though this experience was shared with his brother, the realities of his life were ones that could extinguish a young man’s dreams and visions. To release frustration, MacDame participated in sports and community activities. He was also blessed to have family members, including his great grandparents, who instilled timeless principles of respect and etiquette into his life. Aunts, uncles, and cousins supported and encouraged him to hope – and to begin to fight for righteousness.MacDame acknowledges that it is because of the grace of God that he was able to endure such turbulence during the critical times of his adolescent years. Having problems in his life that needed to be attended to, MacDame began to question why his life seemed destined for hardship. Attempting to find relief in the world from the physical, emotional and mental pain brought him to a dead end. Having already given his life to Christ, but not living the victorious lifestyle of a believer, he pursued God as never before and was led to join King of Glory Evangelistic Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Under the leadership of Apostle George Hutcherson, MacDame began to experience the divine favor, grace, and love of the Father.As an artist, MacDame’s mission is to minister the truth of the Gospel in a way that encourages and challenges believers to "Stay Fortified-N-The Faith. His music clearly demonstrates that Jesus Christ did it all: He is not merely a myth or historical figure; He is Lord and Savior. MacDame delivers a living word that is as transparent as it is urgent. MacDame’s ministry extends to unbelievers: he is passionate with an evangelical/prophetic zeal to see the lost come to salvation and new birth in Christ Jesus.MacDame continues to be active in various church activities and maintains continued involvement with the youth in his community. Also a licensed barber, he is always ready to give his testimony of how far God has brought him. MacDame’s lifestyle exhibits his unshakeable faith in God, knowing and firmly believing that he can do all things through Christ who strengthens him.
