Interested in everything that has to with our home. EARTH. This GLOBAL WARMING thing is NOT A JOKE. At the rate things are going, BEACH FRONT PROPERTY will be for sale in OKLAHOMA. I love a grooving funky band. Like the one that I am in (BIG JOHN MILLER). I love it when I am performing and look out at the AUDIENCE and see EVERYBODY funkin. Awesome sight. I enjoy travel, been living out of a suit case for the past MANY years (ya think I'm gonna tell ya?) but ain't nothing wrong with that especially if you are working. I enjoy DIFFERENT FOODS and the CULTURE of the PEOPLE that prepare those foods wherever I am. I know that it seems hopeless, but, I constantly PRAY for GLOBAL PEACE, GLOBAL HEALTH CARE, the END OF WORLD HUNGER and the end to HOMELESSNESS. I ENCOURAGE all of my YOUNGER PEOPLE to get out and TRAVEL before it becomes too dangerous. I try to encourage the LITTLE ONES and the BIG ONE TOO, to go for your GOALS and NEVER QUIT, NEVER QUIT, NEVER QUIT until you have EXHAUSTED ALL OF YOUR RESOURCES. Even at that, KEEP LOOKING, you may have FORGOTTEN SOMETHING. IT DOESN'T HURT TO ASK GOD. HE INSIST that you do. HE OWNS IT ALL ANYWAY. So much for us thinking that we are in charge. I am blessed to have FOUR beautiful daughters. RAIMI, PORTIA, NOONIE & NARESH, I LOVE YOU WITH ALL MY HEART. But the question was ABOUT ME wasn't it. There are so many important issues that NEED TO be addressed FOR ALL PEOPLE. It is frustrates me so much that the powers that be can't or won't fix it. But I am an optimist. TO QUOTE THE POINTER SISTERS, "I know we can make it. I know darn well we can work it out." "Yes we can can." I was listening to P-Funk live at the Beverly Theater about 3AM, ( I was at that show) and he (George Clinton) said "Think...It ain't illegal yet" and MY awareness went into overdrive.Now imagine that! FUNK CAN MOVE MASSES. THEREFORE I AM FUNKY. I know THAT MUSIC IS THE RIGHT IN MY LIFE. ANOTHER THING IN YOUR LIFE THAT YOU LOVE THE MOST, AND SOMETIMES IT CAN HURT THE MOST. JUST LIKE BEING IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH A WOMAN. HOWEVER, I know I am doing the right thing. CERTAINLY HOPE SO. MOREOVER, If history teaches us anything, ESPECIALLY the GREAT DEPRESSION, we can (the musicians of the world) make THE difference in all of this. We ENTERTAIN THE MASSES. "THINK, IT AIN'T ILLEGAL YET" This is where my head is. I know that we all can get along. We just want to keep things interesting, RIGHT? To SELF DESTRUCT IS UNACCEPTABLE. However, who said I was the savior of the world? Not me,I am just "FUNKY". I just want to do my part and make a DIFFERENCE in my world and hope that it spreads like a wild fire. So, LISTEN. The FUNK IS COMING. I hope that I didn't get to deep IN THIS THING ABOUT ME. This is the "REVOLUTION OF THE FUNK". I thank GOD that one of the many MAJESTIC things he did in THE CREATION OF ME, was to "MAKE ME FUNKY". "E.C.", "I KNOW WE CAN MAKE IT, (BACKGROUND) "I KNOW THAT WE CAN." I thought that as one grows older, you are to slow down and sit on the porch and rock in the chair. That is a bunch of CRAP. I LOVE THE DRUMS. I love it when I get a call and don't know what to expect. Then we all have fun. Isn't that what its all about?
