Take two minutes to send a note to your Senator!I don't sleep very often. I just moved to NYC and am in a love/hate relationship with the city everyday. I love human rights, hip hop, my friends and family, my pets, Barack Obama, good wine, awesome food, stepping outside of my comfort zone, and US magazine (One of these things is not like the others). I could eat seafood(especially sushi)or anything spicy(Indian and Thai specifically) for every meal and be happy. I once hated cooking, but now it is a passion. I am a political science major with many aspirations which are looking like a road to law school. I want to change the world one smile, or one bitch slap at a time, whichever is more befitting of getting to that end goal. I want to sing on Broadway....still, cuz hey, I've been onstage every night for awhile now, so why not take it all the way. (update: Holy shit, I quit smokiing! -oops, try again.) I am working on a book, but it is making self doubt swirl, like any writer I suppose. I have been spending this year seeing the world and opening my eyes. Going "where the hungry come to feed" and breaking bread. Switzerland and Hong Kong were the latest, and I am addicted now. I hope to make it back to China and to Africa this year. Put that on my resolutions. "My life, I live it to the limit and you gotta love it."
