Mikel Davenport, L.Ac., M.S., CMT, is licensed by the California State Acupuncture Board to practice Acupuncture and Herbology. During his ten years of Chinese martial arts training (Hung Gar Kung Fu, Yang style Tai Qi, Yi Chuan Qi Gung, and Ba Gua), and his travels to China with his Sifu(teacher) for advanced training in Qi gung, he discovered the healing powers of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). This brought him to The Five Branches institute where he earned a Masters in TCM specializing in orthopedic and musculo-skeletal acupuncture. Mike furthered his training by traveling to Zheijang University of TCM in China and completed an internship in internal medicine and herbology.
